Actually, I was wrong. I didn't get A job today; I got two. I got the first call this morning and the kindly lady at the fancy pants hotel offered me a job. I went to my interview at the hospital this afternoon and explained to the chatterbox interviewer that I had another offer on the table. I got a call an hour after I left that interview from HR at the hospital offering me the job. Way to check on those references!
I look for a job for four excruciating months and then I'm offered two in the same day - two jobs that I would have gladly taken, had they not been offered to me at the same time. When it rains, baby, it pours. But hey, I'm two-for-two with my interviews.
Work downtown and take the bus to work every day or work a mile away for $5,000 less a year? What to do, what to do...
